DESCRIPTION:Dear Friends and Colleagues\, \nWe take great pleasure in inviting you to the 16th Annual Congress on Controversies in Ophthalmology (COPHy 2025) which will take place on April 4-5\, 2025 in Seville\, Spain. \nFollowing in the footsteps of COPHy’s long-standing tradition\, COPHy 2025 will once again strive to maintain the highest of standards and\, as in the past\, will continue to focus on the debates concerning controversial issues in ophthalmology\, the core of the congress. The meeting will focus on innovations and controversies in retina\, but also will have featured sessions on uveitis\, neuro-ophthalmology\, and glaucoma.  Leading world experts will present two opposed approaches to controversial issues. Each topic presented will be followed by a live discussion of ophthalmologists experienced in the area being discussed. \nAllowing ample time for speaker-audience discussion\, the Congress aims at reaching up-to-date recommendations to ongoing debates even when data remains limited\, through evidence-based medicine\, including expert opinion.
